Client, international creative artist needed a space to relax and be inspired in.  Having the working studio look out onto the small courtyard and out to the street, she needed privacy and an area to meet with clients in a calm and tranquil setting.  Also keeping in mind that if she may need to move, a layered grouping of planter pots were suggested to give depth but also so that they could be relocated if needed.  Soft foliage was chosen for the privacy screen with structural hardy plants for the focal positions below and soft ground covers for the lower level.  A feature Weeping Maple and comfortable cane chairs were sourced to complement the relaxed design.
